Choose safety. Choose certified motorcycle helmets. Whether you’re a seasoned rider or a beginner, investing in the right helmet can make all the difference. Here’s why:

Legal Compliance: ACU Gold, ECE, or DOT-certified helmets meet safety standards and keep you legal on the road.
Protection: Certified helmets absorb impact energy, reducing the risk of head injuries.
Quality Assurance: Trust helmets that undergo rigorous testing.
Remember, your helmet is your first line of defence. Ride confidently with a certified helmet!

Here’s a summary of the different types of motorcycle helmet certifications:

DOT (Department of Transportation): Mandatory for helmets sold in the United States. Ensures basic safety standards for public roads and property. Manufacturers certify compliance, and random testing is conducted by the National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration (NHTSA)1.

ECE (Economic Commission for Europe): Valid in over 50 countries, mostly in Europe. Rigorous impact tests at various speeds, angles, and helmet parts ensure comprehensive evaluation. ECE 22.06 is the current standard1.

SNELL: Established by the Snell Memorial Foundation. Voluntary certification with rigorous testing. SNELL-certified helmets often provide superior protection, especially for high-speed motorcycling and racing. The current standard is M20201.

FIM (Fédération Internationale De Motocyclisme): Introduced for professional motorcycle racing. FIM-certified helmets are also available for consumers. Focuses on safety for racing but applicable to all riders1.
